Huili Zhang

Huili Zhang (张惠丽) is a Chinese language instructor in Groningen Confucius Institute (GCI). She graduated from Minzu University of China(MUC) with a master’s degree in TCSOL (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages). Prior to joining GCI team in August 2018, she has taught Chinese for six years, including two years in Hamilton College, US, two years in MUC, and two years in Phuket-wittayalai, Thailand, to learners at all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced learners. Her current focus is teaching HSK Standard Courses, Chinese Yuwen course, and Module Courses.
With great passion for Chinese culture, she has also organized workshops on Chinese Folk Dance, Chinese Knot, Paper Cutting and Chinese Drama. In the coming year, she would also like to provide students with more opportunities to practice both the language and the culture.
