Invitation to ADE China Pavilion

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is a world-leading annual five-day electronic music conference and festival. The 2017 Amsterdam Dance Event will be receiving a fresh infusion from the ‘Middle Kingdom’: China Pavilion.

Besides music, China Pavilion will present a fully day & night festival program with the official ADE China Conference, Networking Event, Silent Disco, Chinese Virtual Reality Experiences, China Talks (lectures about Chinese society, science & culture), Documentary Screening, Great Wall DJ Competition and much more.

This year Groningen Confucius Institute jointly organizes the performances and China Talks at the incredible VondelCS venue inside the heart of the famous Vondelpark. Artists from Music Confucius Institute are invited to give a 45-minute instrumental performance reflecting the dialogues between the Chinese and the West. Jingyi Liu, Chinese Director of Groningen Confucius Institute will give a presentation on The poetic expression and philosophical implication of Mountain and Water . The calligraphy workshop is open to the public as well.
