-Event: Opening ceremony of the Confucius Classroom at Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar, which is the 9th Confucius Classroom of Groningen Confucius Institute in The Netherlands. Chinese Ambassador to The Netherlands Wu Ken will attend the opening ceremony and unveil the plaque of this Confucius Classroom.

Het Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar (RLW) is bijzonder blij met de status van Confucius School. Het predicaat wordt toegekend door het Confucius Instituut. Het is wereldwijd. Scholen die het vak Chinese Taal en Cultuur op het vereiste niveau aanbieden kunnen ervoor in aanmerking komen. In Nederland zijn er 11 scholen met een Confucius Classroom. Het RLW geeft sinds vier jaar Chinees. Komend schooljaar doet de eerste lichting Rijnlandse leerlingen eindexamen Chinees.
