Jing Wu

Jing Wu(吴菁), Chinese teacher of Groningen Confucius Institute (GCI). She has got two Bachelor's degrees ( Major: French language and literature; Minor: Human Resource Management) from Sichuan University in 2011. Later, she received her Master's degree of international business from Burgundy School of Business in France in 2013.

Jing Wu has joined the GCI team in October 2018, and her teaching will focus on HSK Standard Courses, Cultural Theme Course on Chinese culture, Module Courses like Calligraphy, and cultural workshops. Besides, she will be coordinating the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK).

Jing Wu has obtained ample experience of teaching during her long-term practice. She used to be in charge of International Office of School of Public Administration of Sichuan University, which brings her substantial knowledge of cross-cultural communication and management. Hence, she was given the chance to deliver lectures on Chinese language and culture during the yearly “University Immersion Program” held by Sichuan University, for foreign students from QMUL, MSU, OISE, etc. who are joining the summer camp in SPA. In addition, Jing Wu is adept at planning cultural activities, such as lesson on learning Chinese calligraphy, Chinese songs, making handicraft, and contest of Chinese cuisine. She would like to provide students from total beginners to advanced learners with abundant opportunities to immerse themselves in both Chinese language and culture in a friendly and supportive learning environment.
