Green & Circular

“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.” - John Lennon, Imagine

Many of us are dreaming about a better future. In China especially we dream about a future where we can ride a bicycle in the city without smog and eat food that isn’t poisoned. A future to enjoy beautiful nature and where a wide biodiversity of animals and plants can flourish. However with 1.4 billion Chinese citizens, heavy pollution problems and China being the production factory of the world, this dream feels far away.

Program:
The start of Something New
Speaker: Borre Akkersdijk (nl)

How to create Circular Cities?
Speakers: Frank Alsema (nl), Prof. Da Liangjun (cn), Marthijn Pool (nl)

The future of Shanghai: changing the city’s structure to enhance biodiversity

Plant the Smile, Protect the Wild
Speaker: Dr. Zhou Jinfeng (cn)

How to link the Entertainment Industries to ecological development?
