Opening ceremony

Dear all,

We are delighted to invite you to the opening ceremony of the Groningen Confucius Institute Amsterdam and a celebration of the Chinese mid-autumn
festival from 2 - 6 p.m. on Thursday 22 September 2016. The event will be
held at the EYE Film Institute Netherlands, IJpromenade 1, 1031 KT
Amsterdam.

During the ceremony, from 2 - 4 p.m., we will share with you the plans for our
location in Amsterdam and invite you to experience the sound of Chinese
music played on Western instruments, as well as the story of a Dutch
businessman working in a Chinese company, the fascinating experiences of a
Chinese language learner and an on-stage interview and panel discussion with
China experts from government, business and education. The Groningen
Confucius Institute Amsterdam will be officially opened by Wu Ken (Chinese
Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands) and Peter den Oudsten (Mayor of
Groningen).

During the reception from 4 - 6 p.m. you will have the opportunity to share
your personal experiences with experts on China and with your business
partners, or to get to know new contacts and gain new inspiration.
