Summer Camp 2018 registration is open

Every year Groningen Confucius Institute(GCI) organizes Summer Camp in cooperation with Communication University of China(CUC, Beijing). Summer Camp is financially sponsored by Confucius Institute Headquarters(Hanban).

We would like to invite our non-Chinese students, who have studied Chinese at GCI at least 40 hours, aged between 15 and 30 years old, and have not participated in a visit to China organized by Headquarters to join this summer camp. The purpose of the Summer Camp is to learn Chinese and experience Chinese culture in China, enabling you to experience the realities of China. During this camp you will take part in Chinese language training and cultural tours and exchange ideas with teachers and students from China.

The costs of your study and stay will be covered by CUC and Hanban, while you need to pay international flights and visa application fee. A deposit of €150 is required by the registration, which will be refunded after the trip.

We can only give 20 students the opportunity to join Summer Camp 2018. As soon as we meet this number, we will close the registration. Summer Camp will be cancelled if there are not enough participants. After the deadline we will inform you if you can join summer camp.

Summer camp will take place from Saturday 14 to Saturday 28 July 2018.
