Semi-annual Report on HSK and HSKK Test

On 10 June, Groningen Confucius Institute (GCI) successfully held the 44th HSK Test (Chinese Proficiency Test) in Amsterdam, Arnhem, Groningen and Zwolle. Ranging from HSK 1 to HSK 6, there were totally 228 takers this time.

It was in 2012, Groningen that GCI held HSK Test for the first time. And since then, according to statistics from 44 tests (32 HSK and 12 HSKK), the overall number of takers has undergone a continuous increase reaching 2,377 by the end of the first half of 2018.

For the first half of 2018, in collaboration with 14 educational institutions, GCI has held HSK Test four times and HSKK Test for twice. In addition, half of group registrations are occupied by Dutch secondary schools, which increases by 25% compared with the same period of last year.

Chinese schools: Chinese School Amsterdam, Chinese School Zwolle, Chinese School Arnhem, Chinese School Twente.
Secondary schools: Christelijk College Groevenbeek, Gymnasium Celeanum, PCC het Lyceum, Rijnlands Lyceum, Wolfert Tweetalig, Lorentz Lyceum, Het Amsterdams Lyceum.

Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and HSK Speaking Test (HSKK) are international standardized Chinese language tests jointly designed by Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) and Chinese Testing International to evaluate the ability of non-native Chinese speakers to communicate in Chinese in his/her daily life, either study or work.
