Student exchange program of Rijnlands Lyceum in Wassenaar

When studying Chinese Language and Culture, what can be more exciting than experiencing the life of one's peer group?

Last year 14 students of Rijnlands Lyceum in Wassenaar traveled for ten days to Xiamen and stayed with their Chinese buddy's of Fujian Tong'an No. 1 Middle School. At the start of the new schoolyear in August 2017, the Chinese students came to the Netherlands and were happily reunited with their Dutch buddy's. Dutch and Chinese students worked together on a theme project and a Maths quiz and followed lessons such as Music, Art, European languages, and of course sports. The Chinese students even taught Chinese to the 75 students Chinese at Rijnlands! Visits to The Hague and Leiden were made, as well as a cycling tour in Wassenaar.
