GCI Jointly Organized the Recording of Voice Program of CCTV1

The renowned TV program Voice from CCTV 1（China Central Television Channel 1）was recorded in partnership with GCI on 13th, September in Rotterdam. Students from universities, representatives from enterprises and the media participated in the program recording. With the presence of more than 100 audience, the recording lasted for four hours in a very engaging atmosphere.

Prof. Sibrand Poppema, president of University of Groningen, and the board member of Groningen Confucius Institute was invited to share his stories and insights into a series of topics including research, education, culture and economics and he had engaging dialogues with the youth representatives about multi-culture, entrepreneurship and education innovation.

On the scene, Prof. Poppema and Mr. Aboutaleb, the mayor of Rotterdam shared their insights into “The Belt and Road initiative” and experienced Chinese paper cutting arts with the TV host, Sa Beining and the Dutch artist, Caster Bours. The program will be transmitted in October on CCTV1.
